Xmas Gatherings 2007

Havnt got time to update on this blog.. hehe.. I know.. hehe.. Oreadi 2008 le.. i still trying to write a 2007 blog.. hehe.. but who cares..hehehe.. :p

The most common topic.. XMAS GATHERINGS!!! yes, i have had quite a few xmas gatherings for this year as usual. shall go thru them one by one..

1) Gathering with the Japanese class frens on 15.12.07

Had dinner at Kuriya Dining at Raffles City Shopping centre. Was late that day, they had started eating w/out me.. sob sob.. :( But luckily, I am not the latest..haha.. Cecilia came latest and just when she about to start eating, we eagerly opened our presents and were almost crazy trying to take pics with everyone. Gotten myself the most presents here (cos we gave everyone one present instead of one gift for exchange). Lovely presents, esp Wendy's, cos they are all disney stuff!!! Cecilia's Eyptian present was unique and fragile!! Joseline's present practical and good for skin. Last but not lest, Shihan's present good for hugging.. hehe.. Had a very good time n made so much noise in a all-quiet restaurant!! hahhaha...

2) Gathering with SIM classmates on 22.12.07

Long decided to meet up with them and place confirmed to be at Grand Hyatt Straits Kitchen for buffet. Roughly about 12 of us (incl. classmates' bf) turned up that day!! Achievement!!! hahaha..

Jane even brought her baby girl, Gean. A tiny 1yr old princess who is so energetic from the time i met her till go hme time.. Wan pple to play with her yet act shy..haha.. after a while started to attract attention and want us to carry her around.. she is so facsinated with the food around us, the people at the restaurant and the presents we had... She even did the gift exchange draw for all of us.. Had a great time though the food is kinda disappointing.. but of cos the pple matters more than the food..hehe

3) Gathering with GAC colleagues on 24.12.07

This is a super mini gathering at Koey's house. Only 4 of us plus little Ezann. The rest either not free or not in town.. haiz.. so only me, Jessie, Jeffrey and Koey. As Koey cant leave house(needs to take care of baby), she decided to have the gift exchange at her house + she cook dinner for us!! Yipee!! Home cooked food..hehehe...

After which, we played with Ezann, talked about maple(yes, tat maple story game) etc.. Then was told tat we have a 4th leg for mahjong.. haha.. end up we played 1 round and ended ard 1plus (yes, xmas liao).. haha.. countdown at the mj table!! hahaha.. lost $10 somemore..haha

4) Gathering at my house on 25.12.07

Ken invited a few colleagues to our house for steamboat. My frens also suggest mj at my place. This is sort of a last min decision therefore we are so frantic tat we cant finish packing up our messy house before Xmas!! hahaha.. I made effort to do a little re-decoration and tidy-up for my disney room. And so we had our groups of frens, one side steamboat, one side mj..haha.. After our share of mj, around evening time, we have steamboat too! Quite a cosy little group as we are so familiar with each other oreadi.. We have Jessica, Zhiheng, Huifang, Raymond and of cos baby Kavenn.. We eat, play mj, gossip, chit chat almost like from 2pm till 8pm.. hahaha.. enjoyed myself!!

I guess I had almost the same group of xmas gathering as last yr, however, felt that this year's xmas is more enjoyable. Probably cos only one gathering out of all is at my house!! hahahahaha.. no stress on packing house, tidy house after everyone left, make sure house is presentable before next gathering is due etc... all in all merry xmas and a happy new year.
